Hereford

HomeBreedHereford

It is a bovine breed (Bos taurus) originating in the South West England area in Hereford County. Animals of this breed are identified by being red from bay to cherry with white spots on the head, back of the ears, chest, bellies, lower limbs and tip of the tail.

Hereford is one of the world’s leading meat-producing breeds, selected from its origins more than 200 years ago, for meeting all those economic conditions that beef cattle breeders desire and seek.
